Port & Terminal Lighting

Poorly designed or installed outdoor lighting may cause unsafe and unpleasant site conditions, impair the productive use of facilities and result in unnecessary use of electric power. To address above negative factors, ports are turning to the installation of LED lighting fixtures for cranes, high mast and containers which offers uniform illumination over large areas, allowing for accurate color rendering, and with minimal glare so that the terminal operators can easily perform their duties safely, effectively and comfortably.

Main Lighting Area

A-I. Quay Crane 60m high

  • Under the operator cabin
  • Under the boom arm
  • Sideways

Quay cranes are facilities used to move containers from a vessel onto a cargo truck. Luminaries for this area are not only required to be vibration resistance but also need to offer adequate light on the ground for safe operations.

C. Warehouse 20m high

Warehouses for temporary storage of cartons sometimes are quite necessary for today’s logistic terminals. In additional to high level of illumination request, reducing glare is another important factor that needs to be taken into consideration

D. Large Container Yard & Roadways 30m high
